The FAQ and documentation that comes with the latest version is
actually pretty good: yes, it's a little intimidating at first,
but if you go through it step-by-step, it's really not that bad.
And your reward is that you get to use what is probably the
best and most standards-compliant mailing list management
tool out there. You also position yourself to move to
majordomo 2.0 -- nearly a total rewrite -- when it comes out.
*AND* you can use MajorCool (see the majordomo docs for pointers)
which is a pretty nice interface to all of majordomo's functions.
I think the only part of a majordomo install that's intimidating is
the sendmail alias tweaking; but the instructions just about reduce
that to a cookbook procedure, so it's not that bad.
