I think Michael gave the best answer... anyway if you're not 
satisfied (I really doubt you won't be satisfied) I can resurrect my 
collection of assembler... many of them have a "make"... I think 
also DJCPP have a good "make" (rmake???)

Anyway if you want to try different "make" look for assembler and 
C/C++ compilers. there are a lot of them out there for free and evry 
one should have a "make"
