     Nice, but long before it would have finished, I would have clicked on
one of the menu items and been gone from that page.  It is too slow
without anything to hold my interests up top.  (Background bars on the
menu selections are really a nice trick!) 

     You mean I waited all this time for a mere REFLECTION???  I mean,
yes, it looks nice, but it sure as heck delays download of the primary
image!

     That is just me.  Others might wait, but I bet few do.  Check your
timings in your web logs to see how long people wait. 

     And if you can, rig the Java to download the reflection AFTER the
java becomes fully functional, as the way it is, mouseover background on
business and history were seriously delayed. I'd use background bars on
the guestbook and photo gallery too, as blurs just don't give one the
confidence that the back ground bars do.  I like the backgound bars!

     By the way, the old clock tower on the Post Office looks like the
clock tower on my home town's Town Hall.  Probably the same era.  Do you
know where the clock was made?  Connecticut maybe???
