I know you're not trying to be offensive, but some of your language choice
in your post just made me cringe.

This line, more than anything in your post, was the one that really made me
cring. It sounds patronizing, though I'm sure that is not your intent. But
understand that any women on the list you are posting to ARE computer savvy
or we wouldn't be here. To suggest that I'm hiding because I think the
males might bite me is demeaning. I'm also not overly fond of being called
a 'lady' when we are talking about something that is in a professional
context.
