Oh hey, I think quite highly of Dreamweaver myself. Very good product.
My rather facetious subject line was actually targetted at the point you
mention above, Dreamweaver's ability to automate the creation of
otherwise complex DHTML effects. It's been my observation that many
users seem to think that's *all* it does, or at least so the plethora of
gratutitous "sliding text" tricks one sees lately would suggest.
My point was really that, if all you want to do is make text dance around
in your 4.x browser, try the freebie Javascript utility I mentioned and save
the $200 you'd otherwise spend on Dreamweaver <g>
