That's what they made shuttle flights for.
by the same token, lots of East Coast friends don't understand how I could
have lived in or near San Francisco without ever having been (or wanting to
go) to LA. I guess they think in East Coast scale, where any two cities
within one state are usually within a few hours drive of each other. A more
accurate comparison would be to take everything between NYC and Miami, lump
it together and call it California East.
