When I was 12 yrs old, I wrote a (pretty darn slick) loan amortization
program for my mother [a mortgage broker]. 20 yrs later she is still
happily using the program. It does a simple task, it does exactly
what she needs, there are no Y2K bugs, and there's no reason she's
found to go look for another.

I can send you her email address if you want to explain to her why
this is negligent/incompetent.
