I'm not sure how to answer that.  3270s were the main way that interactive
corporate and government applications were done before there were PCs, and
even now an awful lot of their users are still on 3270s or are running
3270 emulators on their PC. So the "problems" are all of the problems
that large interactive applications have.  You know, things like bugs?

I run into 3270 conversions all the time, and pretty well assumed that
everyone doing web consulting does.  Isn't converting a big CICS app
from 3270/SNA to web browser/HTTP one of the entrance requirements?
