which has some interesting info and followed a link to above.
It seems they have extended what I did here
http://www.rede.com/samples/webping.html which will just count the
words on your page, identify server and check for meta tags (all more
or less). I thought it a great idea to show someone how the page
would rate with a search engine. Such a service, though, must keep up
with changes at a search engine and even then, I don't see how exact
it could be.
Quite odd that the page that will check meta tags does not use them
at all.
But I was wondering if anyone used this 'service' or if they were
aware of other ones that will attempt to tell you how a search engine
would rate your page (and then suggest improvements).
