Transitions: Old Mac to iMac

SCSI devices
As the iMac has no built-in SCSI port and a USB-to-SCSI adapter seems unlikely (and
inefficient), your primary means of accessing old SCSI devices is over a network. You
can easily share storage devices such as hard drives, floppy disks, and Zip disks using
Mac OS File Sharing. For more details on networking your two Macs, see Part One of
this series. Your networked iMac can use SCSI scanners and other non-storage devices
connected to your old Mac with Stalker Software's SCSIShare. Users of Apple brand
scanners can use Stalker's ScanShare instead.
