Try to get 5.0, not 5.1. 5.1 has some "problems" with the installs...
And the patch files were, last time I heard, not compatible with
themselves.
There is also Turbo Linux, and SuSE Linux... and for the braver,
Debian. I don't like SuSE, because the ubercontroller setup program is a
dictator that does not respect your hand tinkerings with the
conflaguration files... resulting in a kind of crash and burn syndrome.

RH will only support 64, unless you specify the higher value in LILO
setup. Won't hurt... just won't be used.

May not be supported yet... Don't know.

5.0 Tulip (DEC) drivers may give some problems with some cards. Large
file transfers on my system cause the machine to throw color characters
all over the screen and crash. I hardly ever see Linux crash, but this
will certainly do it.

Not surprising. Joint some support group, like our [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Well... Linux performance is more limited by ram size and disk drive
speed. They say that a 50mhz 486 gives equivalent performance to a 150 -
200 mhz pentium running NT. My own experiences suggest it may be close to
the truth.

MS asks "Where do you want to go?"
Linux asks "What do you want to do?"
It is doers, not goers, who built this world!
