    In my opinion, for a low volume, non-critical web-server the choice between
NT and Unix comes down to two factors, cost and experience:

    1.  If you have resources available to you that make one cheaper than the
        other (e.g., an existing machine that has sufficient space and cycles on
        it to also run a web server), you are probably better off choosing that
        one.

    2.  Which OS do you have the most experience with?  They both take
        considerable experience to do a good job of administering (no flames
        please).  If you know a lot more about one than the other, you are
        probably better off choosing that one.

    You could have special needs for a web site that would incline your choice
more one way than the other but it did not sound like that from the post.
