1. The browser is not public domain.  "freely available" != public domain.
"copylefted" != "public domain".  "open source" != "public domain".

2. It's not worthless simply because it is freely available in open
source form.  If correctly leveraged and supported, it could easily
own the entire browser market.  That's a big "if", however, and given
AOL's wretched management record, it's very unlikely.

AOL is *still* the ultimate luser company, by virtue of sheer numbers, but
unfortunately they are no longer the home of the 'net's stupidest users.

That honor now belongs to WebTV.
