yes - I can see getting good feedback from the NetTrain list -- which
includes many librarians from around the world.
something to think about Chad -- making this a GLOBAL educational site.
Connecting kids from Japan and Maine, for example, to work on math problems.
I saw a prototype that was built for Boeing for the Space Station ....
hmmmm... have to find out what happened to that. [Of course, it had way too
many graphics, etc and used java -- but the *content* was intriguing]
Chad I think that we need a database for "related sites" -- and that you can
use those of us here to nominate sites for that section. Build a web-based
front end - make it password protected or just don't publish the URL to
anyone but those you want uploading info -- and we can jump start that part
of the content.
I believe part of the service you can offer is 'portal-like' combined with
your own content. I forget -- did you have specific age-groups in mind?
