Unfortunately, yes, many people now mistakenly use the term "listserv"
when they mean "mailing list management software". But I have enough
trouble trying explain to people the difference between MTAs and MUAs
(mail transport agents, e.g. sendmail; mail user agents, e.g. mutt)
without tackling that one yet.
