Unfortunately we don't benefit from the first phase either, though anyone
who lives or has an office along the first loop can get hooked up. Though
we can see the utility poles it'll run on just 1/4 mile from our house, the
City isn't willing to dig up the street just to run a line to our house.
So, it may be several years before we can benefit. Meanwhile, we plod along
at 28.8. Our service provider won't even upgrade to 33.6, and since we get
all our webhosting and dialup on trade (and we're too cheap to pay real
money), we're kinda stuck. Not a big deal, since we mostly use it for email
anyway.
