Hmmm. Glad I've moved away from using MS Office then. I still keep a copy
of Word 97 on my drive to open documents sent to me, but I generally know
where they come from. In future I'll virus scan them before opening (I use
IBM antivirus on my work ThinkPad and Norton AV on my home workstation).

besides, in my home office I'm slowly migrating to Linux. It'll take a
while to acquire all the programs I want and need, and learn to use them,
but when I do that's all I'll use.
