my guess is that it is a conflict with the nested font & href tag i believe
the following version will work (notice the extra font open & close tags):

I have two areas of text that read as intended in IE but in Netscape
4.04/mac, the links aren't behaving right. Instead of the hyperlink
underline ending where I've inserted </A> after "MORNINGSTAR" as intended,
the underline extends all the way to the end of my name. Does anyone know a
cure for this silliness?
