hi, there - well, I completely reformatted the hard drive, so there were NO
vestiges of win98 remaining. however, the reformat et al was with the win95
rescue disk - the one created by win95.
i have two offers of Win95 on disk ... that's looking like my only solution
at this point. sigh.
