Ah, you've been here then... :-)
Regarding the time zone thing, I once had one chap send me a
very nice (but somewhat patronising) response telling me that my
time settings were wrong and I obviously needed his help as a
consultant to get my systems in order -- not a good advertisement
for his global outlook....
Mind you, these days what with editing material from Japan,
maintaining stuff on our US (California) server, developing software
with a Rumanian, serving clients in Denmark and Mexico, and
finishing off next month's science magazine, I hardly know *what*
time zone I'm in!
