Is this not buying shelf space?  Someone mentioned that:

I don't believe the headlines in "National Enquirer" and I don't 
believe the hype about any books. I always look at WHO is saying what 
rather than what is said. 

I buy a lot of books but I rarely buy anything from amazon.com. If  
you want a good price on books go here first:

if they have the book it will be cheaper than amazon.  They have a 
stupid ordering system but otherwise it works okay.
