This appears an irrelevant group for most sites looking to appeal to the
masses. Most IT professionals (except for "M$ Partners") are well aware of
or M$'s practices and tend go for anything else but IE. Therefore their
use of Netscape is higher than the public at large.
Because of the AOL deal IE appears to be the browser the "masses" are using.
My sites are masses kind of sites , food/cooking related-
For 1/99
Microsoft Internet Explorer
62.6%
Netscape
33.82%
Don't get me wrong, I'm not espousing the "optimized for ..." thing but
for the masses IE now appears dominating.
