hey gang -
i just learned that another friend and colleague has joined the party, and
is currently lurking and getting a feel for the room.
her name is Penny McGimpsey, and she's recently become the online sales rep
for the Quad City Times in Davenport, IA. her background is in business,
not tech, which makes her specialty every bit as curious to me as mine is
to her.
she's still getting familar with the territory here in the digital
frontier, but i already know she's gonna make it.. she has an active mind,
rabid curiosity, and enough personality to fill three boxcars. i've told
her that this is one of the best places to hang out on the 'net, and with
the threads of the last few days, y'all have done me proud.
