Darn! Barry and I waited til about 5 after ... then said, well, we guess no one else
is coming.
I wasn't prepared for the numbers -- the keynote hall was *full* for Linus' talk at
6:30.
Trade show stuff: Caldera will have a 2.2 version available w/in a month - sign up at
the show to get the CD for $29. The 2.2 install is amazingly simple -- they have a
huge database of video cards, monitors, drives, etc. with auto-detect scripts. Sounds
like just the thing for newer folk like moi.
LinuxPPC had a small booth - and Applix has a Mac version of its office suite.
Unfortunately, their demo is Intel only.
Anyway, I had fun -- and info overload! Plus, the sun was out M-T (yeah!).
