Thanks for the answers :) In conf.php there is: $RESERVED="postmaster,root";
Should I go now to every domain I have in web-cyradm, and define aliase to root and postmaster so, some existent account can receive their emails? I don't use it but some people does. > 2) Am I getting right 'Aliases' on web-cyradm? > Is it like the aliases in /etc/aliases, says who gets mail for whom, > even from nonexistant email account to some other account? Yes. You can have (if you want) only one real account and a lot of email addresses. I use it very often because it sort incoming mail by destination address not source. For example i have two aliases which I use only for web forms. > 3) When using web-cyradm configured system, what's happening when > someone sends e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ? It should be delivered to root (like > /etc/aliases say: postmaster: root), but instead it bounced with > this error: (data format error. Command output: root: Mailbox does not > exist ). In your configuration you should create aliasses. Check $RESERVED in conf.php before it. rgds, Lukasz _______________________________________________ This mailing list is hosted and supported by bit-heads GmbH | http://www.bit-heads.ch _______________________________________________ Web-cyradm mailing list [email protected] http://www.web-cyradm.org/mailman/listinfo/web-cyradm _______________________________________________ This mailing list is hosted and supported by bit-heads GmbH | http://www.bit-heads.ch _______________________________________________ Web-cyradm mailing list [email protected] http://www.web-cyradm.org/mailman/listinfo/web-cyradm
