Bingo! That explains why web-cyradm does it that way. Ok, so has anyone worked up patches or a fork of web-cyradm that makes use of cyrus' present ability to handle virtual accounts? It seems like it'd be a better solution all-round to use native virtual support, if only for the flexibily of using [EMAIL PROTECTED] logins. > One of the joys of Cyrus. Well, now that I grasp the situation with web-cyradm's "old style" versus cyrus' direct virtual support I can approach it from another angle. > You can still use auxprop but in my experience I need to either: > 1) domain as prefix, e.g. username=mydom0001 thru mydom9999 > 2) username-user.mydom.tld > > It's kind of a six of one, half dozen of the other wh/is better. > Lately I've favored #2. Yes, that's what I gathered as well. This is all telling me that given cyrus as it stands today, web-cyradm does not provide an effective fit. Ugh, I wish this had been clearer two weeks ago. -Bill Kearney _______________________________________________ This mailing list is hosted and supported by bit-heads GmbH | http://www.bit-heads.ch _______________________________________________ Web-cyradm mailing list [email protected] http://www.web-cyradm.org/mailman/listinfo/web-cyradm
