Just a clarification. I did not write the book to make money.

I guessed that, a coder like you has other means to earn money!
And building an open source framework is not one of these.
The book is necessary to give weight to the project.
The book is also important because I need to justify the time I spend
in web2py. In fact, I am employed by an academic institution and they
only recognize books and papers as academic work. The book does not
pay me but buys me the time to continue work on web2py.
Ok, understood.
At first I didn't say clearly what I meant because I didn't want
to seem rude or to be misunderstood. As I said, I know that if you
want to make money, you won't choose to write books, but knew that
you needed a paper book in some way.

Thanks for this clarification.
