Local conferences would be great as long as there is enough local skills to
demo capabilities of web2py. I am not sure how many people are trying out
web2py in Zambia but have gotten one person addicted to python, he has
however decided to take django route on web framework...he tells me he is
finding easier but he has not tried web2py. So my point is if I can get
over a few hurdles am having am sure I can give him enough reasons to also
try it out...just like many people I know around here would be interested.
At the learning stage I have reached despite being 1month on web2py therapy
I find many reasons to continue learning compared to quitting when things
get tough...I know web2py offers many features that make web development
taste like cheese cake...its just a matter of getting there.

So I hope a Zambian community can be born in readiness for web2py conf 2013.
