Yes, that's true. That's a bad example for what I was thinking. Although, a vendor might have a better implementation of something we do directly in WebKit. I was just thinking in general that I'd want a way providing additional semantics via "addons" much like you can with Firefox. But even there you'd have an arduous task of scanning documents for MathML islands. I'll have to think about a better use case.
