It was on WO vs servlets, and IBM's engine happens to be one of the
commercial ones that implements servlets and JSP, aside from having
many of the enterprise features that vanilla servlets doesn't.

I would be happy to know why. I'm just preparing a proposal, to be
presented to the client on Monday. They know about servlets, but are
also a Macintosh site (their servers are Sun, though).
