Well, selling your own stuff is not the simplest bussiness. Im glad that I
dont have to do this right know. Take a further step back: He doesnt only
lock himself to WO, but he locks himself to you, what might even seem worse
to him. No, this is nothing bad about you, but it might just be your
customers point of view.

I think, this is a point just not to talk about if you want to sell. It is
the view of all these bad thing that could happen to me. What if he dont
wants to work with you any longer one day? Do you give him your code? Every
other guy will tell him that his former solution was bad.

And even if it is a WO-Developer, too, he might just not be willing to read
your code. Doing it from scratch in your own fashion is just more fun. If
you tell all this to a customer he feels like his hands tied together,
standing at the wall waiting for the bullet.

WO is the forge, but he will get the wheel, thats what to tell. If you have
to explain technical stuff, you are defensive. You have to ask the
questions. Mr. Walker has given a lot of ideas in his messages, what to ask
to impress and convince your partner. Proven solution, running 3 thousand
times, scalable, robust, flexible, blah blah blah.

Wish you good luck on monday,

Bye, C.

PS: This is a completely different job from the technical aspects to be
discussed here.
