Note that handling of incoming messages isn't configured yet, so for now replies to Discourse messages are discarded instead of being posted online (either as a new topic or as a follow-up to an existing one). AskBot isn't able to do that either so this is not a regression. (See rdm#2952 msg12 and rdm#3246).
