We were discussing smoking a few days ago........I just thought I would share something that someone told me today.
And no, this is not a lecture Bill.........it's your life after all and it's your choice about how you live your life. Anyway, today I was at work and I was talking to a friend of mine and she said she had decided to quit smoking! I thought it was great! I didn't ask her why she had come to this decision but she decided to tell me anyway. She said she went into Quik Trip today and they told her there is a new tax on cigarettes. After a certain time (probably in the next couple of weeks) cigarettes will be $1.00 more per pack. And she said they already cost $5.00 a pack so that means one pack of cigarettes will be $6.00!!! I thought...........wow! If you have to pay that much for something, it ought to be getting you high, at least!! I just couldn't believe a pack of cigarettes cost that much!
