> Any recommendations for a good hosting company? I'm renting an LVM (Linux Virtual Machine) aka UML (User Mode Linux) from Dave Uhlman [EMAIL PROTECTED] for $40/mo. You get root access to what looks like your own RedHat 8 box. It's virtual, so you're actually sharing the hardware and network bandwidth with others, which keeps the costs down. 50km charges more than some other outfits that rent UMLs, but Dave is really good about giving me advice regarding system administration and pre-configured custom rpm's. He also claims that he has better uptime and network access than the cheapo guys.
With a setup like this you can configure python, webware, apache, proftpd, postfix, etc. any way you desire.
