Is the intent of the SV5 segment to to report additional DME information rather than submit the additional information as a charge in SV1?
In other words, if both DME purchase and rental information are required by the payer for adjudication, is the intent for the provider to charge for either the rental or purchase of DME in SV1 and then report additional information in SV5?
