Follow-up Comment #1, task #9353 (project weechat):
I think this is quite useful as well as currently the 2 most popular IRCD's
(from this list: http://searchirc.com/ircd-versions ) (the top 7 are the same
2, just different versions) certainly support it and so do a few others lower
down on this list.
