Finally I bit the bullet and bought a vatagePro2 with a data logger.
The sensors installed perfectly and the console works OK.
However, the logger is a different story. It is an USB logger but as
well with weewx as with the official software no signal can be seen.
weewx (running on a odroid-C) says: "engine: Loading station type
Vantage (weewx.drivers.vantage)
Aug 14 16:09:37 localhost weewx[4381]: engine: Unable to load driver: No
module named serial
Aug 14 16:09:37 localhost weewx[4381]: **** Exiting...
Well, that can be but how to solve that.
the (Windows 8.1) software (running on a laptop) says: Error
communicating through USB.
Both messages doesn't give an idea where to look.
Has anybody a solution? (And I thought the use of a Vantage would solve
all my problems!!)
