I'm coming from 3-4 yr old Costco LaCrosse that has multiple issues now, and the rain bucket failing is the last straw, as rain is my most important instrument, I'm between tall trees so my winds are a joke. anyways, Costco had a AcuRite piece-of-cheapness for... $59 (that was $20 off the regular $79). how can I miss? worst case its total junk and goes back for a refund.
I fired it up with their windows junkware, ok, it works, then got it running on a pi3 w/ weewx, logging mysql to a database jail on my freenas microserver. very cool. I'm surprised how accurately its temp and rain readings are tracking the other wx stations in my general area. I need to calibrate the barometric pressure. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
