Differences between metricwx and metric are here: http://www.weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#units
and here http://www.weewx.com/docs/usersguide.htm#StdConvert It is all about the units in the database not the reports - since the reports can be in any units you wish. FYI the world record is 38mm in 1 minute = 190 in 5. or 126mm in 8 minutes = 79 in 5, or 198mm in 15 mins = 66 in 5 On Saturday, 17 December 2016 06:37:36 UTC+2, Marc Aubry wrote: > by Metric i mean that my database and reports use mbar, knots, mm > according to the weewx config file. > i don't know the difference between METRIC and METRICWX ????? > Oups!!!! > you are right, i better lower the max rain. i was thinking per day and not > by archive period. i'm living on the equator and we can have 200mm my > archive period is standard (5min) so i'll put 3cm to be safe... > > thanks > > > > > On Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 8:04:49 AM UTC+7, Tom Keffer wrote: >> >> You say you're using the metric system.
