|Alberto It is POSSIBLE that WU reports the time since the last reading change - but I still do not see what is happening because you do NOT have rapid fire enabled in the weewx.conf you posted.
Do you have multiple instances of weewx running by any chance - can you do ps -A and check that weewxd appears only ONCE in the list of processes double check Matthew needs to comment on how we have rainrate but not rain!!
