- how much money is too much ? - how big a box is ok ? - how much power can it draw ? - how much noise can it make ? - how nice-looking does it have to be for your significant other to ok it ? - is it for just weewx, or do you need/want to run other things on it ? And also: - wired or wireless connection to your LAN ? - what kind of station do you have, how's it connected to weewx now (serial/usb/other) ? Nothing wrong with a pi, within the pi's limitations. Definitely spend the extra few bucks on a good+fast class-10 SD card and get a pi3. UPS is always goodness if you can do that too, just in case. The pi can be a little finicky re: power. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
