Something's wrong. Have you checked the system logs?

I've been running WeeWX on a Raspberry Pi Model B with 512Mb RAM for 3 
years with just a handful of outages, all of which were either 
power-related or the result of the notorious Fine Offset WH1080 USB port 
lock-up. I send logs to a Synology diskstation and minimise disk writes 
using ram storage. Have never had any SD card issues with it either.

The Beagle Bone is a great little board and more capable than a Pi; unless 
it's faulty it really should be good enough.
