Andrew, Thanks once agin for that nudge in the right direction! By running Weewx from the command line I was able to catch the faulty data and send it on to the developer of the hardware. I'm extremely grateful for the advice. As you'll see below the first REC packets have the wrong date, the LOOP packets are fine. This is obviously the issue that Weewx is rightly complaining about.
