I tried to resync it at 1am, no joy. However I did notice that the sender LED doesn't go off. It just stays on and flickers.
I took apart the sender (FYI it's glued shut) and gave it a good clean (with IPA and a toothbrush). Oh, and I dug out my SDR gear and checked if it was actually broadcasting anything on 838MHz. But no dice, that area of band is strangely dead right now! So I have a few theories... 1) Some IC on the sender is stuck in a boot loop for whatever reason. 2) There's an intermittent connection I haven't found. 3) Do we know what sender does if one of the other sensors isn't connected? Does it just boot loop? Because if there's a dead sensor, it may just be that. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Thanks for the help thus far... PS - So looks like I shall be buying another weather station. Anyone got any recommendations on one generally available in UK, that won't break bank and works with WeeWX? Preferably without needing an SSD receiver (personal preference). PPS - In fairness, it did last over 10 years!
