Officials at Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest in the world,
appeared on television and asked people not to travel to the airport at
all if possible. I admit it, I'm a little scared, although it is
probably safer now than it was yesterday.
Is this just for, like, right now? or for the foreseeable future? The
UK economy will collapse if people can't fly in and out of Heathrow. I
can see why people might not want to travel any more. I haven't been
out of the country since 9/11/01. I think people have nothing better
to do than to figure out how to destroy us without fighting a normal
war. I'm sure Sept. 11 enabled us to thwart this, but we should have
known how to stop stuff like this all along. I wish we had UK chatters
to hear how it's playing out over there.
