Pluto, God of the Underworld. And why does it really matter if Pluto is a planet or not? People from New Orleans are still homeless, 10 planes nearly went down over the Atlantic, We haven't found Osama, gas prices are hovering around $3/gallon, people are killing each other on the streets of America, etc. etc. What impact does Pluto's status have on the quality of life on earth, and can't they take some of the millions they are using to figure this out to improve health care, the school system, the environment, etc.?
