nah, I don't really think composting is that different from traditional recycling, and being vegetarian doesn't necessarily make you granola. Obviously it doesn't have a specific meaning, but i think of it as someone who is less concerned with material things than other people in the community. Like the opposite of my parents. I keep wondering if they are in this group--they probably would have told me if they were since if they were they would know I'm on it.
