It's a fun production, but I didn't love the music or the story. I also read and hated the book Wicked, so I might not be the best judge. Even after hating the book, I was disappointed that the musical strays very far from Maguire's story. He makes the witch a political dissident, and the musical makes her a lonely girl and really good friend.
