Commune Molly here, coming out of the woodwork. Daria knows how to push my buttons, but I love her anyway. I do live in a cohousing neighborhood-- motto: it's not a commune!
Daria, I was just thinking of you as another UU family we know from NoVa just visited and is dying to move here. It looks like they are going to come with or without a job. Brave souls. The nice thing about living in a small town is that there are tons of connections-- the guy had at least 5 personal contacts for jobs by the end of the weekend, and several interviews. And yeah, I was mildly annoyed by the RoVa stuff-- but my husband, born and bred in NoVa, thought it was hilarious. We can't be too rural-- we even have fresh sushi at our grocery store! We speculate that there are no more stores west of us that offer sushi for several hundred miles.
