--- In [email protected], lots of people have
mentioned racist dogs...

If you look under the pictures for "Chatters Furkin," you'll see a
picture of my beloved Kramer and Bubby in Annapolis. They're both
ridiculously friendly dogs, but Kramer is wary of people wearing
hooded sweatshirts, sunglasses and baseball caps. I don't wear
hoodies, but I do wear baseball caps, and he always looks at me like
weird.

However, when he sees somebody wearing most of those items, he barks
his balls off. He doesn't growl, but he's almost 80 pounds of pup
with a loud, deep bark.

And, lots of black, hispanic and teenaged folks tend to wear clothing
combos like that...needless to say, I have to explain "just remove
the shades or the hat, and he'll be fine." And, sure enough, once
they take off something, Kramer's cool and happy again.

I'm guessing it had something to do with his Pre-Ray year, before I
got him from the SPCA. Maybe somebody hit him, or yelled at him, or
he saw something - I do know he originally came from a rough
neighborhood.

*shrug* Dogs are weird, lovely creatures when they're allowed to be.
